Das Recht auf Widerstand

reklamiert der neue (und umstrittene) pal. Premierminister Salam Fayyad.

Ich bezweifle, dass Fayyad persoenlich viel fuer Widerstand uebrig hat, aber er muss – wie jeder Politiker – die Stimmung im Volk beruecksichtigen.

70% der Palaestinenser finden, dass Selbstmordattentate gerechtfertigt sein koennten.

Und natuerlich geht der Widerstand von Seiten auch der Fatah einfach weiter, siehe:

The Fatah-affiliated Al Aqsa Brigades have stated that the positions of the Fayyad government, in regard to armed resistance groups, „doesn’t represent the vision and philosophy of the resistance and the defence of the dignity of Palestinians“.

A statement issued by Abu Al Muntasir, a prominent Aqsa Brigade leader in the Gaza Strip, declared, „This will make it more easy for Hamas to attack the Fatah movement, and say that we are ’standing against the resistance‘. “
